Review: Wella System Professional- Power Mask

What it claims:

Intensive haircare mask. Smoothes and protects the hair's surface. Your SP stylist recommends: Work into lengths and ends of damp pre-shampooed hair. Leave for 5 minutes. Use heat to intensify effect. Rinse out thoroughly.

My hair condition:

The ends of my hair have been chemically treated multiple times- rebonding, colouring, heat styling etc... And they are fried. Almost straw-like. It's stiff and gives off a "crispy" sound whenever I scrunch it.

Does it deliver?

It certainly did coat the surface of my hair, maybe that's how it protects the hair surface? But in a bad way. The more I used this product, the more it gave that "crispy" feel to my hair, drying it out and making the ends even stiffer. Upon rinsing off and towel drying my hair, my ends didn't feel any smoother or less tangled.

For the $40 Singapore dollars I paid for this product, I expected better results. At least some detangling effect.

Will I repurchase?

Definately not. I'm just glad this product has been finished up!

I am back!

Sorry for my long absence. I'm finally done with my studies and am waiting for my final results and the date for my convocation!

So I'm back to beauty blogging and have decided to revamp the design of my blog again. I wanted to keep the design to the minimum. Less distractions, more on the reviews. I've also changed the direction for my blog. I'll be focusing on posting more short and sweet posts on hauls, reviews and other randoms so as to enable me to post more frequently.

For the past few months, I've been diligently finishing up my beauty products. Will do an update on that in my next post!
