Don't get me wrong on this, I really do enjoy watching beauty gurus on Youtube or reading rave reviews of their Holy Grail products on their beauty blogs. But sometimes I feel "cheated" by their reviews...
It seems like every month or so, beauty gurus would post their monthly favourite products or their "new found" Holy Grail items. I mean, if they were to really love or call a particular product their Holy Grail, wouldn't they want to stick with the product for a longer period of time? At least longer than a month.
After reading their rave reviews, viewers *such as myself :p* will go running to purchase those items, only to find out later in the next month, a new favourite has emerged! And we have barely even finished using that product.
And that's where the clutter begins. Bottles of pre-loved HG products.
I think these days, the words
HG, love, favourite, best, must haves, can't-live-without...etc, are used too loosely. These words no longer carry weight to their actual meaning.
Does any one else feel the same way about this? Or am I the only one? Haha...
