PTP Update!

The evidence!

Slowly, more pan is showing!!

Done!!!

Almost gone!!! I'm having difficulty getting the concealer on my face already. Time to look into getting a new concealer :) I'm thinking of trying Shu Uemura's. Any one tried that yet? The one in the pan.

So far I've finished:
  1. Paul and Joe Powder
  2. MAC Ricepaper
  3. MAC Kissable Slim Shine
  4. Coffret D'or Loose Powder
Almost done:
  1. Covermark Concealer
  2. Spring Heart Eyeliner
I've realised the No Buy rule imposed is impossible to adhere to. Haha! *I've been a bad girl*

I got some stuff from Sasa. =x
  • Silky Girl's Silky white 2 way foundation
  • The Balm Hot Mama Blush
  • Silk Whitia whitening masks (this classify under skincare right?)
  • Majorlica Majorca Pressed Fantasia 24Hr
Nothing else :) It's alot less than what I would usually buy. So... I would count that as progress!

I will continue to use up more stuff. But still buy *some* stuff which I "need".

I've been lazy

Hi all, I have been a lazy blogger... Haven't been in the "mood" to blog recently. But here I am, blogging to thank Ria for sending me the greatest package of all time :)

Pretty packaging :) And Ria, you have awesome packing skills. Stuffing that box full without leaving any gap!

The goodies... *love love love*

Oops, this one wouldn't rotate to its correct position. From Too Faced, Eye Shadow Duo in Thief of Hearts. * so pretty*

Another from Too Faced. A Beauty Kit in Naughty or Nice?

The inside :D Comes with 6 eye shadows and 6 lipglosses. Great for travel!

This one wouldn't rotate too. And I had a hard time photographing the "eyes lips face" words. It just wouldn't show up without flash :(

The inside... I've always wanted to try out the blusher/ bronzer duo... And now my wish has been answered by Ria :)

Thank you Ria!!! I'm grateful to have met you! Welcome to beauty blogging and I hope you'll continue to make new beauty blogger friends too! :D

Project 10 Pan Update!

Here's a photo update for Round 1 of Project 10 Pan...

So far, I'm done with:
  1. Paul and Joe's Pressed Powder in 002
  2. Mac's Ricepaper
  3. Mac's Slimshine in Kissable (not pictured)
7 more items to go! I find lip products the hardest to finish :( they seem to take forever!

I have decided to replace some of my original 10 items with other products as they really do not apply well on me. Such as the Shiseido Mascara base, which is a pain to remove!!! And the Castledew Mascara, doesn't hold the curl at all even with a base. I have substituted them with 2 powders, another Paul and Joe one (don't know what's the shade) and a Coffret D'or Loose powder (since I'm out of the pressed powder).

Within the past week since I started P10P, I haven't bought any new cosmetics. But I did pick up this device!!!

Any guesses as to what it is??

I shall send a prize to the one who guesses what this device is! All you have to do is:
  • Be a follower on my blog
  • Leave your answer (one answer per participant) in a comment for this post
  • Provide me your email address so I can contact you if you're the winner!
The winner will be randomly picked from the correct entries. Depending on the situation, if there are many correct entries, I will have 2 prizes! :)

Good Luck!!

Let's start counting again!

Great start to the new year :D

I finished some non-makeup items:

Incanto Heaven...

Love the peacock design...!

The list:
  1. Incanto Heaven
  2. Dove Daily Treatment Conditioner- Intense Damage Therapy (great at first, didn't work towards the end)
  3. The Bodyshop Merry Cranberry Body Wash (smells wonderful!)
More to come soon!

Update on my Project 10 Pan.

So far I'm doing great! The Paul & Joe Pressed Powder is almost used up. The powder is soooo soft that part of it (well ok, half maybe?) broke into tiny pieces while I carried it in my purse! But I saved it! Stuffed the case in a zip lock bag to prevent my purse from getting all powdery! Just to make this item count as one of the pans, I took the broken bits of powder out and placed it in my loose powder container! So this isn't cheating :p

The amount of pan showing up on my MAC Ricepaper is getting bigger! Can't wait for it to be gone!! Suddenly I thought of the Back2Mac program :) I'll keep the empties to save in exchange for a lippie!

The rest of the items are pretty much the same :(

Any suggestions on which lippy I should get from MAC? :) Pinks and nudes preferred. Thanks!

Review: Beautymaker Aquamarine Hydrating Serum

Here's my review on the Beautymaker Aquamarine Hydrating Serum.

Brand: Beautymaker
Product of: Taiwan
Amount of product: 30ml
Price: Not too sure as it was in Taiwan Yuan
Available at: www.payeasy.com

Instructions:

Apply a pump of this serum after toner. Can be used day & night.

Review:

Pros:
  • It was pretty cheap for a serum
  • Seems to have a few great ingredients? Like.... Cucumber Extract...Placental Protein...
Cons:
  • Too much fragrance!!!
  • Slight itching sensation upon application
  • Isn't moisturizing enough for my dehydrated skin
  • Hard to tell how much is left in the bottle, since the packaging is opaque
  • Doesn't improve my skin in anyway :(
  • I suspect this is giving me tiny clogged pores on the cheek area
So yeah... Disappointing product. I had such high hopes on this, seeing how Fuz raved about this line... But I'm glad I tried it for myself. It killed my curiosity and sort of killed my skin too in the process :( SOB!

Well, lesson learnt, not every product a blogger raves about would suit your skin type. I've tried Paul & Joe, that gave me bumps too! So I guess my skin prefers gentler products. Less rich or creamy.

Final verdict:

I shall go repurchase my Dr. Ci: Labo collagen thingy tomorrow :) I will still continue to use this up, but maybe on my neck area. :p
