HG skincare list

Hi all! Long time no blog post! As usual, me being a lazy bum!

My skin has been going all crazy again :( with the clogged pores and red post acne scarring. I've been trying HABA skincare lately and it seems to be making it worse?! So I'm back to using my good old simple skincare routine.

After wasting loads of $$$ on fancy skincare products, I have came to a conclusion. My skin just hates high end skincare brands :( Whether its Clinique or Estee Lauder, all of it didn't work out for me.

I stumbled on this thread on a local beauty forum, which asks forum readers to list their HG skincare items. So I thought it'll be fun to do it too :) *bored at work*

These items have been repurchased at least more than 2x. So these really work the best for me. They might not be the most fancy skincare brands, but they definately get the job done. So here goes!

My HG list:

Skin type: Sensitive (sometimes itchy), acne-prone (clogged pores around the cheek area), dehydrated (dry on the surface, oily beneath).

Concerns: Mild acne (clogged pores- both white/black heads), red post acne marks on cheeks.

Do I double cleanse?: Yes

HG Cleansing Oil (PM): Fancl Mild Cleansing Oil *been my HG for years!*

HG Cleanser: Cetaphil (I use it both AM/PM)

HG Toner: Simple's Toner/ Avene Thermal water

HG Treatments: 12% Glycolic Acid

HG Blemish Treatment: Origins Out of Trouble mask applied as a spot treatment overnight

HG Moisturiser (AM): I use a serum. Neogence HA serum, since my sunscreen has moisturizing properties :)

HG Sunscreen: Niks Gentle Sunscreen 50

HG Moisturiser (PM): Have yet to find one which does not clog my pores. Recs anyone??

HG Eye cream: Bobbi Brown Hydrating Eye Cream

HG Hydrating Mask: Silkwhitia Whitening sheet masks

HG Clay Mask: Origins Out of Trouble

That's about it... Quite a simple routine. What's yours??
