I was half way through this tube of concealer when I started to drift away from it. I actually finished a whole tube of it before that... that would have meant something right? Me, finishing a product and repurchasing it! It must have been really good then? Silly me decided to look around and bought a MAC Select Moisture Cover which was in the wrong shade (NW20) and didn't cover scars as well as Origins! ARGH! That's going Back2Mac. :)
On to my next new found love...
BUT!
It works gorgeous as a blush!!! * I will take swatches of this when the lighting is better, it's really dark in the evening now*
Recently, my cheek area has been breaking out. There are millions *ok, exaggerating here!!* of clogged pores in the hollows of my cheeks. :( And my beautician suspects its my blush which is causing me to suffer. I change blush sooooo often, so I wouldn't know which one was causing me to break out.
So she suggested either totally skipping blush *GASP!* or to use a pink eyeshadow as a blush. I preferred the second suggestion.
Since our eyes are so delicate, eyeshadow would have lesser irritants than a blush I guess? So... I was in search of getting a NEW pink eyeshadow! But I decided to search through my stash before that and I'm glad I did!!!
This baby will probably hit pan too! A great item to add to PTP. :) Along with the concealer of course.
Did you find any new loves from your old stash recently?? :)
Expensive pink from mac also works as a great blush I found :) Great alternative use!
ReplyDeletelol I love this line in your post:

hey priscila dear, what about the blush brush? do you clean it after each use? sanitize with alcohol? it does help! but i find that the brush rubbing against my skin, tends to irritate my cheeks too - my cheek area is and sides is sensitive...plus my HAIR gets in there and bacteria....!
To be honest, I'm really fickle with my makeup. I love to acquire more and more! *evil laugh*
ReplyDeletehahaha but really the mac e/s looks like it's been rarely used too! i agree it would look lovely as blush. Hope to hear how it goes with switching blusher to eyeshadow. I had a friend with the same dilemma but she just switched blush brands :)
@Shifa: Thanks for the recommendation! I will check that out after I'm done with my current one :)
ReplyDelete@Liz: I wash my brushes once every week. I'm afraid that washing it everyday might make it shed! I have my hair pulled back everyday. Can't stand it in my face :p the germs!!!
@Tammy: Me too!!! I love trying new stuff out even if I'm happy with the stuff I'm currently using. I used to use Maquillage blushes, then Jill Stuart. If I'm not mistaken, there's mineral oil in most Japanese blushes. :( So that might be the course of it?
